COMMERCIAL PROPERTY RENT: CORONAVIRUS STOPS BUSINESS PAYING LANDLORD



Starting last Friday, both Brandon and I received many phone calls from entrepreneurs worried because their business revenue is down to nothing or next to nothing and they won't be able to pay their April 2020 commercial rent. The businesses are all different, but the questions and the fears are the same.

The most often asked question was "Can my landlord shut down my business and will it have to go bankrupt". Bankruptcy is unnecessary just for this reason. So, I put this quick video together to explain what an Ontario commercial landlord can do. Note: This is a very low budget film!!
